ACT PSC offers a range of professional development and support to meet the unique needs of each service. Services can choose to have customised sessions in their environment based around issues particular to their service.

Topics available include, but are not limited to;

  • The Early Years Learning Framework
  • My Time, Our Place – School Age Care Framework
  • Child development
  • Program planning and evaluation
  • Leadership and team building
  • Promoting positive interactions
  • Collaborating with families
  • Effective communication skills
  • Nutrition, health and hygiene practices
  • Service management

Costs and Registration

ACT Professional Support Service Providers

  • Eligible services-$200.00 for up to a three hour session
  • NSW eligible services-$300.00 for up to a three hour session
  • Non eligible services- No subsidy will be provided (full fee recovery)

Interstate Professional Support Service providers

  • Eligible services-ACT PSC will subsidise 50% of overall fee
  • NSW eligible services-ACT PSC will subsidise 20% of overall fee
  • Non eligible services – No subsidy will be provided (full fee recovery)
