The Early Years Learning Framework and Framework for School Age Care underpin the NQF and are an integrated part of the National Quality Agenda. The best preparation for the National Quality Framework is to start to embed the EYLF and/or Framework for SAC into practice.

Professional Development and Support

Process related professional development and support will be available from April 2011 including budgeting, financial management, articulating curriculum, communicating NQF information with families, leadership and policy development.

Educator Meeting Packages

Educator Meeting Packages provide directors, coordinators and service leaders with materials and resources to lead learning and development within team and educator meetings.

Expert Support, Consultancy and Networking

Support and consultancy will be available providing educators with expert advice and opportunities to discuss and reflect on their practice with colleagues and peers.

NQF Factsheets

NQF Factsheets will be sent to all child care services nationally and posted on the ACT PSC website. NQF factsheets will provide useful and practical information to support implementation of NQF and quality improvement.

NQF Newsletter

A quarterly NQF Newsletter will be distributed nationally to all child care services from early 2011 with examples from services who are successfully moving through the self assessment process, examples of NQF implementation and the latest information from DEEWR.
