Specialist Equipment
Specialist equipment is available on loan to eligible children’s services (excluding In-Home Care) to assist in the inclusion of a child who has demonstrated ongoing high support needs. Specialist equipment includes, but is not limited to:
- Portable ramps to create access to the environment
- Standing frames and seating or posture aids
- Specialist “basic furniture” such as chairs, tables and sleeping equipment
Access to specialist equipment should be determined in conjunction with your Inclusion Support Facilitator (ISF) and the child’s therapist.
